I liked my ML on the recent Tog trip. Really fun on light tackle.I've never been a big fan of Shimano but my buddy went all out this year with the grapplers. He has both spinning in the L and ML and conventional in ML, MH, and H. I ended up using his ML spinner during a hot bite after I busted my setup. I fell in love with the rod, if I hadn't been under the weather most of the month I would of picked one up to finish off the season. Great recommendation Lep, keep up the great reviews.
According to my math that means 3 rods from the retail prices I've seen, buy 2 get one freeKeep your eyes on the Internet. A bunch of the 6' Type J rods were purchased on line for for $169 (ML) and $199 for the M. I know, because I "grappled" an M at that price. As did quite a few others around here.
