It was about 10 years ago we saw the first deer in the yard ...... we just had our first Turkey last weekend. Spanky (the hound mix) chased her up into a tree.

Really active out there in the wild savanna of Chez Roccus. Watched as a male robin had his way with a female and then saw this red fox carting away his breakfast.

Was wondering if it was a grey/red hybrid so I did some research and I found out that the two animals cannot interbreed as they are two very different species and genus. The best way to tell a red from a grey is by the white tip on the tail and black ears and lower legs, so this guy is definitely a red, the only foxes around my yard.
