Interstate and everstart deep cycle. Never fail.-20 where I live and still go great. I bought a gel battery fromWM and it wont fully charge from my Honda 50 and my interstate will. I always have a spare on my boat just in case but so far(15) or more years not needed. treemanjb

For the record, I had the battery tested before I launched and it was fine so it's still on the boat. This is its fifth season so $250/5 means $50 per year which is what I like for battery expense. I'll test it early next spring and make a decision for 2020 then, but I think I'll be sticking with the AGM/Dual Purpose format as it certainly has done well for me.
