Can I get and ID on what this is?

I picked this up on a camera in my dad's backyard in Commack. We do have Ferrell cats around but this doesn't look like a cat to me.

That's what I thought. I see them all the time down on the Nissy but never in this neighborhood. It's crazy, we now have fox and a turkey in the center of a 1/3 acre plot neighborhood.
