Does anyone have a particular one they like? After tossing some lures yesterday, I found some medical tape and covered my finger. Figured the glove may be worth the small investment.

Cellie, I didn't cut my finger lol. I put the tape on early enough to prevent that from happening.
I just picked up the 9' St Croix as my lure rod. I'm just getting into surf fishing since I got my beach pass. I'm also looking into getting a chunking rod. Maybe a Tsunami that can handle 6-10ozThe tape is a good idea. You can try a batting glove.
You might find yourself going back to the tape. You
are obviously putting a good effort in the cast. In
my opinion, if you haven't already done this. Start
looking into CTS, Century and Carolina Cast Pro rods.
What I been using is the fingers from old leaking vinyl dishwashing glove that my girlfriend used. I cut off the fingers to protect my casting finger..
Now that's a great idea.. I'm going to try it.. AND everyone wear your masks and gloves to stay healthy, Sy.I would do the same thing and use the pinky over my thumb when crushing 8 and bait conventional.
The issue That I came across was the gloves are made from a cheap material. They ripped easily.
That's when I started to use the fingers from a dipped utility glove. Problem solved.
