Casting Glove

Does anyone have a particular one they like? After tossing some lures yesterday, I found some medical tape and covered my finger. Figured the glove may be worth the small investment.

Cellie, I didn't cut my finger lol. I put the tape on early enough to prevent that from happening.

Snapper, never used a glove ? my hands a little rough anyway, but if ya think ya need it good,... over time though I had a few fish runs that caused reel burns on palms from trying to hold em back, didn’t care if it hurt though, was like a badge to remember... cellfish... ????

The tape is a good idea. You can try a batting glove.
You might find yourself going back to the tape. You
are obviously putting a good effort in the cast. In
my opinion, if you haven't already done this. Start

looking into CTS, Century and Carolina Cast Pro rods.

I just picked up the 9' St Croix as my lure rod. I'm just getting into surf fishing since I got my beach pass. I'm also looking into getting a chunking rod. Maybe a Tsunami that can handle 6-10oz

What I been using is the fingers from old leaking vinyl dishwashing glove that my girlfriend used. I cut off the fingers to protect my casting finger.. The vinyl part of the glove that covers the wrist I cut into strips and add them to hooks as streamers.. This is called recycling...
