How many times can you keep going back to the same well.
First stop, catch porgies for bait. The fishing was so hot that could have been a trip in and of itself.
Next stop, big bass. The quantity was down from last trip but I still put two 40's in the boat.
A bonus was "getting/having" to fight 3 two hundred pound class sharks that each almost spooled me on the first run.
I got a boat side look at the third just before he chaffed through the leader. My hip is still sore. I should have begged for the fighting belt sooner.
If there is anyone in Montauk that's better than Huey Chancey at producing big bass without making you sweep the broom, I'd like to meet them.
