One of my favorites was this 59’ Ranchero. This was back in 74’. What a blast I had with that car. Had 289 Cobra Jet with a 4 speed. Had a beautiful metallic brown paint job, offsetting hood scoops, Edelbrok high rise, headers, rolled and pleated interior, and lots of other goodies. Great memories.

Move the clock forward 10 years to 84’ and this was my daily driver. 73’ Spitfire. I think it had around 65hp. It couldn’t get out of its own way but a pissa to drive.

By comparison I had a 2008’ Miata that had 164hp and I think it could run 14’s.
