Classic Cars

I followed a classic Caddy last week on eBay that at first was a good buy at $10,500

THis week it went up to 18k
I was out at 15

It just sold an hour ago for $25,500
Way over but the rarity of the car was not the mileage but the interior option and color that few took and missing out on the best overall others. The most opted for was leather and black.

The option on this bad boy was Dynasty Gold.... with the Golden paisley silk & satin mesh interior

I searched a long time for this car and waited for one to show up but just did not think the 25.5 was fair.

dont think I will ever see another and that’s what the buyer thought.
oh well. When it went into bidding war I knew it was gone for me.

im sad.

Love that year

Yes,love the 68 - 70.

I spotted that 70 when listed at 10,500 then went to 18k....then it went bonkers.
The low milage and dynasty gold paint and interior was amazing

In high school we cruised in my friend Gil's '68 Caddy convertible, white with black top and red leather interior.
Great car, fun times - that 472 could get rolling.

Rust wraps - pretty amazing looks, I like it!

Farking idiots...

There was also a threat of changing laws in California when it comes to restored cars. State legislatures were talking to the media about requiring not only seatbelts but also airbags in vehicles of any age before they could be licensed to drive on public roads, a fact which angered the enthusiast community. Not many people who owned something like a beautifully restored Duesenberg Model J or an original Shelby Cobra 427 liked the idea of installing non-OE equipment which would look entirely out of place all because a comedian was in a car accident. So far no such laws have passed, but that doesn’t mean someone won’t try to slide something through at a later time.
