Conspicuously absent were any C4s. Every other generation was present. I should have brought mine to represent.

On second thought, maybe better to remain absent and be thought a POS than to show up with a POS and remove all doubt.

The car was immaculate. There were a lot if immaculate restorations there. I was a little put off by the people with brand new C8s (and maybe it's just procedure) that all have a Vote For Me card for spectators choice awards. Is a brand new car deserving of an award? Does the dealer get the trophy, or GM?

Had to drop a new clutch in my "classic". Used to be a 20 y/o car was classic, now I'm hearing it's 25 years.
Guess I'm in limbo for another few years...listening to the Knack on cassette lol.

70k miles on a 21 y/o car isn't a lot - acceleration in 3rd gear is still rather startling!
