Good luck ! We also need proof of vaccinations for our upcoming cruise. Really nice just walking into grocery stores, HD, Kohls etc. without a mask as well.

NYS Dept of Health sent a letter to CDC asking for clarification and guidance on the mask wearing for students in school, despite Cuomo lifting the requirement. Our district in Suffolk is waiting to hear back on that guidance. Given that school is out in 3 weeks, this is probably more for 'show' with the Stasi dictators in Albany.

53.3% are actually vaccinated as for how many are fishermen...who knows

this percentage is TOTAL… not a percentage that has been broken out of any tricky stat plucked from a certain slice of the pie.

They will do whatever there customer base is most comfortable with......just as their are those who want nothing done and never had..there are those who will wear masks now til they die. The cruise business is already spooky enough before this to many people....my experience from many cruise is that the cruise lines maintain a very strict level of hygiene....the sickness problems that break out on cruises are due to the nasty people who bring their nasty habits into a confined high populated space....

but that won’t bother the rest of us

No inconvenience at all for the rest of us

Airline makes a bit big deal of of their state of the art
Air purification system top down cabin air changed every so many minutes blah blah blah

the minute the engine go off the system goes down
15 minutes later still not disembarked everyone standing crowed togeather trying to jostel bags

The problem is they have a voice and if it is a loud enough voice they can influence policy....if that policy is directed at a business you own and is contradictory to what you believe....What do you do?

I believe we can go forward to nearly normal from here......

so masks adios....but the good thing out of all this is the awareness to sanitizing your hands frequently...not for ourselves but also for others

My last two times on a PB I did not embark with a mask and only did so earlier because the boat requested it and didn't need the BS which I understood,,,,but once out on the water and the open air off they went.

They must work for airborne chit because the cold and flu season was non existent

Many interesting "Collateral Damage" stories spurred by the COVID Pandemic. IMO, many of them like increased telecommuting, telemedicine, Zoom meetings, etc. were inevitabilities accelerated by the pandemic's restrictions.

Another one is the "fall from grace" of standardized tests in higher learning admissions, SATs, ACTs, and the GREs, etc. Well now the administering companies seem to be fighting back and actually ADVERTISING!!??

I can't say I've ever seen an advertisement for the GREs, but this one popped up today on a national newspaper website!

Wow. My kid is dealing with a lot of this nonsense now. I've always thought these things were a racket. Now it's finally coming out.

Operate over an open wound in what’s supposed to be a sterile or as sterile as possible enviroment

Examine yes
My doctor still to this day doesn’t wear a mask in the exam room
He will play the dog and pony show when moving room to room but not in the exam room ( at least not with me)
