A few data points about Delta from Public Health England. You can see cases and deaths by vaccination status. . This is thru June 21st 2021 in England.

Unvaccinated: 53.8K cases, 44 Deaths
Vaccinated in Aggregate: 27.1K Cases 70 Deaths

NOTE: Wrote below before I saw @jpd post above. His preempts mine, but my drivel below shows another facet of how folks can twist raw data into irrelevant nonsense.

Can't use the 1 vaccination data in with the "vaccinated" data in your assessment in that it's well-documented that a single vaccination of either Moderna, Pfizer or AstraZeneca only provides 40-50% protection against Delta. Those data should be looked at as a single set, HIGHLIGHTING why you need to get both vaccinations of a 2 dose COVID vaccine.

54K unvaxed and 44 deaths.

Unfortunately and has been the case throughout this exercise, is the fact that they don't break down the ## between a case with or without symptoms.

Let's say their population is 80% vaxed, or 4 times as many as the unvaxed.
As a representative sample, you'd have to multiply the unvaxed numbers by 4 - 216k cases and 176 deaths would be more comparable to the population size of the vaxed.

Plus the ones that got vaxed are mainly the ones that were most vulnerable, so you'd have to reduce their numbers by percentage points due to their demographic.

My history prof at Hofstra said "statistics are like ladies of the night, once you get them down you can do anything you want with them." (That was 1969-70 so he still made tenure.)
Not sure if I would have fought off a virus infection without the shot but at age 70 wasn't going to chance it. With such a tiny percentage of bad reactions, and the chance that I could pass it on to someone who would not or could not fight it off... Regardless, everyone we know and care about (excepting friends' grandkids), has been vaccinated. Those that haven't, just roll the dice, AMIIGAF.

EVERYTHING IS A MATTER OF WEIGHING THE ODDS...NOTHING IS 100% SAFE FOR EVERYONE....the reward outweighs the risk with the vaccine.

Even crossing the street when the light is green is no guarantee you will get across safely....some won't.

I know many people who were afflicted with covid with complications,,,,,, but no one that has a serious side affect from the vaccine.....I'm sure there are because everyones chemistry is different....I just have not seen them

So the inventor says it’s bad and you believe who? Just who has brainwashed you all to sign your life away. I mean one of the those that is financing one of the vaccines also wants a population reduction. It’s still only a flu. I know only one person that had had it and was forced by the govt. the others are ready to walk instead of becoming another test subject.
Glad I can look death in the face and laugh at him. Can’t imagine living in fear and the false sense of security of being a lab rat. No you cant switch that around as there are no court orders saying we can’t sue like the waiver you signed.
We will persevere and you will cower until the great reset kicks in.
Common do you guys truly believe this is because the govt cares? If they truly cared then truly needed drugs like insulin wouldn’t be so expensive and readily available to the masses of seniors.

Never fear. Can’t get it now anyway. Can you say that? Might test positive but won’t get sick. B4 the vaccine i just masked and washed hands. Haven’t bothered with any of that unless some store required it since March
