Being fully vaccinated with boosters we really haven't cared who got vaxxed and who didn't, have worn a mask when asked by various venues and proprietors to do so and enjoyed Thanksgiving yesterday with family. Lost my allergist to long haul, and the local pool store and local Carvel owners died from it. Except for the fat doctor, the other two were not seemingly susceptible but I suppose they could have been diabetics or HBP. A little concerned about this south Africa variant since it seems that some have indicated that the shots have a lesser effect. Truly hope it doesn't end up with the hand sanitizer, washing hands like you have OCD, masking at all stores, cancelling the Ward Melville show, etc., etc., again. But I know that I have never told anyone to get the shot. Unfortunately the majority of the 700K dead probably vote the way I do and reduce the chance for my being happy in November of 2022 and 2024.

Problem is, the variant is already in Europe and probably here.
Was holding off on getting my booster until my 1yr anniversary in late December but because of this development, I'm getting it this weekend.
My circle of friends are all vaxed and boosted with no stories of people dying. Sore arms and tired was the worst of it.

Thats the goal. Notice how he says "updated", "upgraded".....Kinda like a software program.
Truth is that ya'll will be getting shots and boosters forever. With each dose your natural immune system will probably become less effective on its own, actual degredation, and will be dependent on new shots every three months.
