Guess the stars aligned as I have had and have some limited access to home test
I’m supposed to fly out tomorrow
Started to feel not well yesterday
Took a test negative

I’m feeling better and thats odd for me normally a cold knocks me down pretty good
I’ll take another later today just to be sure
 
I wasnt feeling well on Saturday night. Took a home test Sunday and was POS. I am triple vaxxed.

Had 1 night of fever (101.5) on Sunday with some aches and fatigue but that was it. Been asymptomatic since Tuesday.

Almost felt exactly like I did when I got my second shot of Moderna. 24-48hrs feeling like crap then better. I'd like to think that being vaxxed helped but who knows. So much conflicting information out there.

Was told to wear an N95 mask when I return to work............And I have to get my own.........2 years in and we're back to fending for ourselves like the early days.....Its just a shite show....

and you could have ended up in the hospital had you not been vaxxed. Who knows ? Glad you are already over it. any idea how you got it ? (One week after New Years- hmmm)

Could have been anywhere. I am a PA in a hospital. Called everyone I was in contact with the week before and no one had it.

Almost felt as if my symptoms should have been worse from the way things started but after having a high fever on the second night, things subsided. Never had a cough, sore throat or headache.

Took vitamin D, zinc and drank a ton of water. Wife made chicken soup. She feels fine.
 
And on the plus side
Of the ppl I know that have had it in the last few weeks
All are doing well none had any serious symptoms
Some vaxed some not
Maybe 25 friends and their families all better or getting better
 
Except for the cousin of a friend, my allergist who got so bad he closed his medical practice and is still on IVs, and the dead guy that ran Pequa Pool, I don't know anyone personally who has caught the virus (yet).

Between my wife and I, along with work acquaintances, the number of folks we know is probably in the 25-30 range recently came down with Covid have/had experienced very mild symptoms.

Thats good news.

From what I've been told, Omicron does not respond to any of the Covid therapies in use including monoclonal antibodies.
 
So after I took the test
I changed the cat litter and rounded up the laundry
Grabed a cigar the litter and laundry
Dumped the litter in the trash
Ran the laundry to the woman that does it
( not my wife)
Opps forgot house keys

good thing I took my car keys and my cigar
 
So many people I know and their families had it recently, have it or think they have it - I can't keep track anymore.
I've got 3 Pfizers in me and have never had symptoms, maybe I have had it - who the f*** knows?
 
I had delta and omicron, I wasn’t vaxed when I caught delta in February, got it at work, never stopped working during pandemic. I guess I was lucky never got too sick and probably worst of it lasted 3 days. No fever, slight cough, good oxygen level, little achey and major headache. I did get the phyzer shot in April. Caught omi at work again, sick on New Year’s Eve, maybe I sniffled for a day, slight headache same day but I did lose my smell again which never fully came back since February. I’ve definitely felt sicker with either strep or the flu when I was younger compared to either variant. This is just my experience with the two, your mileage may vary and for the record I’m 55 years old.
