IMHO, Osteopaths shouldn't be giving medical clearance for anything.

DO's went to med school just like all other doctors. The difference is that in residency, they had the option to go with the MD program but decided not to. But they are still fully qualified doctors

I group Osteopaths with chiroptactors......both serve a purpose and provide an alternative course of treatment.

I'd listen to my chiropractor before an orthopedist but sometimes a chiros help plateaus and you need the Ortho.
