I dont know all the scientific terms Dom, just saying observationally, this one is not normal. Not a normal virus, not equivalent to a normal bacterial infection, etc.... just feel like it was trying to find something to exploit in me in a really bad way and couldn't penetrate my defenses that far after 7 days.

One thing I will say, observationally, is this: This virus behaves like none other I have seen. It goes on multiple seek and destroy missions across your organs and immune system, try's to find the greatest weakness and exploit it. Like something programmed and designed to do.
After having it, I fully believe this is not something that evolved through nature. This is a manufactured virus.

Glad you both recovered.

Viruses don't go on a programmed search and destroy mission for weaknesses, they just exploit the ones they randomly come into contact with. COVID happens to have a wide-breath of organs it can interact with, which makes it a far more insidious virus than others that can only wreck havoc with one or two organs.

You're confusing mode of transmission with immunogenicity. They're not necessarily the same trait. My musing was that if someone wanted to really screw things up, they would use the aerosol transmission route like flu, COVID, TB, etc. and engineer in the low immune response characteristics of things like HIV.

If you've read Clancy's Rainbow 6, you'll remember that the pivotal moment for the bad guys was finding a way to aerosolize Ebola's transmission.

Who’s better then being the Chief Medical advisor to the President of The United States that funds the research (Gain of Function/Make A Better Virus) Who’s lab doing that research just coincidently is in the same proximity of the bat (?) that started all this for a way to get it around. Think he did pretty good getting it around while still not held responsible. Don’t ya think?

Got the three shots. My whole family and close friends have too. None caught the virus yet. But I am just gettin over this damn bronchitis. (Had to get the test just to get some non-OTC drugs. Test was negative. ) Have been reading that there is some progress towards a shot that would be more all-encompassing. Whatever. To each his own. Confident that at our age the vax was the way to go. If I develop some heretofore unknown complications 20 years from now won't give a shit LOL, if I am even around to give a shit. Of course if I was 20 years younger, both of my jobs would have mandated the jab.
