That works both ways.

When the next pandemic hits (Hopefully not in my lifetime) people will be much more defiant and as a result, more sickness and death will occur.

Hopefully there will be a leader in place that is actually interested in leading.

The situation is now a sideshow with these lawsuits.

Not sure if this is a "money grab", as they've already recouped all development costs for the vaccine, BUT this "event" highlights Pfizer's strategy lately, something I'm totally enraged by. They're making "announcements" before actually showing the regulatory agencies their data so people expect authorizations/approvals and will pressure folks for this. On one news show yesterday they asked their expert of her opinion and the response was appropriate, "I have no clue, haven't seen any data yet."

In this specific case, Pfizer has suggested that the 2 dose course vaccine raises a good immune response in 6 month old - 2 year olds, BUT not so robust in 2 - 4 year olds, and is already looking towards a third vaccine probably for that group. Assuming this is an accurate assessment of the actual data, these data clearly describe an incomplete clinical trial, and releasing the story for the media is a despicable tactic to raise public pressure for the EUA. Yes, this EUA submission is RUSHED and IRRESPONSIBLE!!

Pfizer is not making any friends at FDA and the future, routine submissions for drugs and devices will probably meet a severe case of the "slows" at the agency...

Lockdowns are a panicked move by governments that are not prepared to handle a pandemic. Considering the amount of money spent on research and the fact that this pandemic was predicted AND we had a few months lead time before it got here, what actually happened is disgraceful!

The basic lack of supplies shows how corrupt government really is. Eye-opening and reaffirming at the same time.

Not that I'm happy about, but nobody should be surprised by this. At this point, if we spot ordered huge quantities of just about any product, the bulk would be coming from China...

BTW, has anyone who ordered these tests seen them in their mailbox yet? I haven't...

Don't worry, they're probably useless anyway.
I highly doubt they were kept under the required temperature control the whole journey.
