Traffic delays yesterday for the first time in a long time.....so we are opening up again and what exactly is different from when we shut down...the virus is still out there...no vaccine....PPE and social distance just doesn't really happen......so we will spike again? or not!!

I don't think anybody actually thought this was over, and plenty of the people advising us said it was going to spike when things re-opened.

I thought the whole idea was to "flatten the curve", which we did. A little too well, in fact. But nobody ever said this was going away any time soon.

You just can't shut down an entire country for long enough for the virus to actually go away. Things have to start moving again, hopefully with more awareness and precautions and the chips are going to have to fall.

You seem to have to use such ridiculous statements to bolster your POV. How about we just keep social distancing and wear masks in public. How about we limit the amount of people in gatherings. Nobody is saying stay locked in your house for another year.
