AMIIGAS. If its voted "gone" it would take place (or not take place depending on your point of view) in 2023. I have mixed feelings on this. For deer hunting, I would prefer that the morning sunrise occurs later. For kayak fishing, I think starting in the dark could be harder. Bottom line: being retired means I really don't give a good do do either way as I no longer work for "the man." Farmers and ranchers could probably care less as well, except they still have to deal with the 9 to 5 types regarding markets.
Our local Snoozeday had an article this morning indicating a dark morning would be harder on kids going to school.
Should we, can we, could we start a poll, which I have no idea how to do ?

A poll has to be Longitudinally Adjusted where people at higher longitudes get more votes, because...

The further away from the Equator, the greater impact on when you get more daylight by virtue of DST is felt. There is ALWAYS 12 hrs of daylight on the equator, as opposed to Zero daylight during winter at the North & South Poles...

Pemaquid Maine: 43.89°N, Sunrise - 07:18, Sunset - 17:22 - 10:04 hours of daylight
Islip, New York: 40.72°N, Sunrise - 07:28, Sunset - 17:44 - 10:12 hours of daylight
Melbourne, Florida: 28.08°N, Sunrise - 7:35, Sunset 18:36 - 11:01 hours of daylight


FYI, Hawaii doesn't do the DST thing since it doesn't matter. Right now in Hilo, the largest city on the Southernmost island, has these stats.

Hilo, Hawaii: 19:72°N, Sunrise - 06:23, Sunset - 17:44 - 11:19 hours of daylight

Roosters and Tide Clocks don't need to be reset, thank goodness!!

Feeling pretty good, only one screw up with resetting timed light programs, but there's still some "experimenting" to validate that...
