Diamond Braid 8x gen 3

Finally got to try out this new braid yesterday. Was given a partial spool over the winter but never got a chance to use it. Feels about the same as my buddies 30 lb Jbraid. Used an Albright to tie a shock leader and it snugged up with no slipping. What I really like about it is the bright orange color. With the cold water and nasty day of wind and rain the porgy bite was a bit off. Almost like a flounder bite. It was just as sensitive as the other braids ive used. Not much info on their site anyone else used it?

Looks good. What’s the 8x about? Is it a multi strand?

Yes, 8-strand, like Berkley 832 and Daiwa J-Braid J8.
