What kind of lure are you using for the bass. I've never fished fresh water and am new to fishing in general want to try to hit up this place within the next couple of days. I live nearby great to see this thanks a lot for the motivation.

Going after dinner for carp and catfish

I finished dinner at 5pm and made my way back to kissena park. I Get there at 535 and I see a big crowd at the lake i am guessing but I think It was a 25 to 30 lb Catfish was a channel I think. Sorry no pics. After that I walk To where i saw the carp. On the way to the spot I see a red tail hawk. Sorry no pics was getting dark in a hour. I get to the spot at 6 and immediately I get a huge catfish. A lb or more. Right after that i get a Small carp probably between 1-3 lbs. the highlight of the trip a 6 to 10 lb koi was pulling drag what a fight. I have a short video of the koi once it’s monitized I will post I also have a video of the carp. I ended the day With another catfish. as I was walking home I saw a small carp but it didn’t take the bait. Not bad for 45 minutes of fishing. Going back tomorrow with bread.
