Yes , tickets to the tip top of Freedom Tower is $45.00, hamburgers $25.00, best view on clear days like today... cellie...

Many years working in downtown Manhattan, on 9 11 I was working in downtown Brooklyn. Not sure I can visit the new WTC. I remember right after 9 11 exiting Jones Inlet and looking west and saying to myself there is a big hole in the skyline.

Cell, Cell, Cell, immediately recognized a Royal Navy "Leftenent" Commander by virtue of the mortar boards, same as USN, and the hat's Royal Navy Insignia. You're not watching enough WWII or James Bond movies...

Got into the fray late as I've been toiling away in the yard, but my immediate comment upon seeing that photo, before reading any of the texts was, "WTH is Cellie doing photographing a Royal Navy officer on Memorial Day, a US holiday?"

Just don't take any photographs of a certain banned female member of the "other" site. She notorious for stalking around Fleet Week, and has honed her "Hello Sailor!" greeting...

In Flanders Field.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

ya know George Washington had his back to the wall in Brooklyn heights with the redcoats were ready to slaughter his army there ... George had his men boat across to lower Manhattan inda night and escaped to the battery., the weather (miracle) helped George and the revolution continued... cellie...

I hate when people wish each other a Happy Memorial Day or use the word Celebrate Memorial Day. It's neither HAPPY or a CELEBRATION!
