Had some money left on gift card for Bass Pro Shop picked up some gulps. Another 8 packs came today I’m so ready to dunk a line.

Kinda of sad when you consider that 50 years ago, we'd all be filleting flounder from the Quogue Canal instead of talking about getting anxious...

Always remember when St Patrick’s Day when coming so was Flounder Fishing. And even as a kid it was before St Patrick’s Day even came. I would be Duck hunting with my Father and Grandfather and the Party Boats would be steaming up the State Channel.

Now just fond memories. And in some of those areas out there bouncing a chum pot along bulkheads and boat docks picking away until the bucket was heavy!

50 years ago, how about 60+ years ago catching all the Flounder you could ever want in Massapequa, or Bayville, or trips to Quincy, MA, renting a rowboat and catching bucketfuls of monster Flounder.

yes it is been a fan a long time, like I said photo is 50 + years. My father would take the grass off the duck boat and it would become the flounder boat
