Wanted to head out after work today with rain tomorrow afternoon, Saturday weather not looking good and kids planning Father’s Day dinner for Sunday, was a good breeze all day and wasn’t sure if we should go one report said 1 ft or less and another saying 2.5 ft that’s just not fun trolling or jigging in so was undecided about 2 o’clock I had a friend that runs charters out of Huntington and had a afternoon trip booked he said I’ll let you know how it is about 3 o’clock as I was getting off work he called and said it wasn’t bad and he had two fish on the boat already so call to Frank Sr and Frank jr let’s go we headed out at 4.30 got to the OB buoy and sent the shad rig down then sent out a mojoe and was using the parachute method that’s a workout in itself makes a few fish but no takers moved east and started marking some fish finally on the parachute rig we hooked up then a short time later the shad rig took off we were making the same pass back and forth and had hook ups and dropped a few started getting late so we headed in we had two over slot two slot fish and one under slot 37”36” 34” 31” 24 that’s it till maybe Monday
