I know the dream included safe releases of those big, 35+" girls...

Reminds me of a "near death" experience I had probably 20 year ago. Up to that point in my life, I NEVER landed a fish in my dreams, I'd always wake up before getting the fish in the boat, on the beach, etc.

Then one night I landed a beautiful striper of around 30 lbs. It was a very vivid dream, in color too, because to this day I still can remember the beautiful shape and purple iridescence of the fish.

Immediately after that, I woke up scared chitless, thinking, OMG I caught the fish!! It must be a sign that I'm going to die soon!!!

Guess not, and now I usually catch the fish in my dreams. Some day I should lay on a couch and tell a shrink that one. He'd probably have a field day with that dream...

7 degrees off from my backyard too. I don't know how much of the temp difference is solar infrared vs the 41 degree Gulf water temperature. Regardless soon it will be cooler as the giant heat sink it sits on will be cooler than the air.

Love checking the car thermometer temps as I drive down the peninsula. Winter - Damariscotta 5 - 10 degrees colder than the temps when I hit my house, summer 5 - 10 degrees warmer in town...

Head of the same peninsula, but different river, although I'm pretty sure it's the difference in distance to the Gulf, my house being a lot closer to it than Damariscotta is...

You know, I just checked yesterday's lighthouse photo and the temp then was the same as my house was, 33 °F, but the difference was NO SUN yesterday so the lighthouse thermometer is falsely inflated by solar infrared. Will have to confirm in the summer...
