Season 5 of Fauda on Netflix is coming back on Sept 8. Like the politics or not, this has to be one of the most accurate series in depicting espionage and counter terrorism. (Fauda is Arabic for chaos.) The main character "Doron" is exceptional, as is the rest of the cast. Season 5 scripts were ready to be used when the terrorists attacked in October of 2023 and the decision was made to scratch it. This show has never "played it safe" regarding the Israeli-Palistinian conflict. Season 5 will now take place in the aftermath of the attack and was released in Israel in May. Perhaps because of my own "activities" prior to retirement, it has remained one of my favorites.
