there are some winter cruises leaving Bayonne & 42nd street..

7 & 10 days to bahamas & Caribbean, best to book the week of Superbowl Sunday... almost the same as being there…C22…

Sailed out of NYC twice , both were fine for me and wife since we were in a suite back corner of ship With wrap around balcony. Going around the cape can get rough so we go to bed early the first night and last night. the bed would sway you to sleep Since bed faced bow to stern.
Others we sailed with did not enjoy the trip around Hatteras and shipping lanes, gets a bit rough.

All our other cruises were out of FLA. ports including MIami FT. Lauderdale amd Tampa. Those are smooth sailings.

Port Everglades today, Dania Beach.

a many million $$$ project washed out to sea… they brought dump trucks in loaded with sand ( one by one ) to widen the beach 300 feet, 2 miles long and now there is less than 100 feet remaining… wow…

i can’t remember where the before pics are i posted earlier this year… anyone know where it would be… cell…

When will we learn that a barrier beach is inherently an unstable area that's constantly in flux. Talk about throwing good money after bad, go right ahead and build it back so we can laugh at them again...

it was , partially…


the top pic edited from bottom pic, shows the mountain of sand being leveled +300 feet from high…

this was fine virgin sand from sand pits in florida…

ITS ALL GONE…

I took that cruise 27yrs ago on my honeymoon, it was amazing.

As we sailed through the canal in the morning we had breakfast served on our balcony and I smoked a really nice cigar while drinking coffee.

‘’The television in our room gave us a speaking tour guide through the entire canal and locke process.
