that looks great - but - how big is that pan or how small are those birds?

that’s a Lodge 15”, had it 35 years... do everything wit it, from roasting almonds, stove top and oven work...

those were Cornish Hens, 4 birds fit perfectly, they were great, easy peasy, one hour and just as good as a 13# Turkey wit half da work... cellie...

I'm impressed - would never have thought of "panning" Cornish Hens - did you perhaps put them in the oven with the pan?
 
those C hens were great, unlike a Turkey that leaves a lot fat inda pan, that stinks out da apartment for a week... cellfish...

That fat makes gravy, not Joe gravy.... good bone gravy for stuffing and potatoes.
As for the smell, I luv a roast smell “in da house” all day. It goes away,,,, I make many others after that.... L?L

Wader my friend, ya killin me.!. lol... make a lite rice/ mushroom stuffing, oven on 350’, invite da market lady over in one hour, have da white wine chilled, a scented Christmas ? candle... repeat New Years Eve... cellfish...
