in Catholic School as a youngster, does anyone remember how often we were scheduled to the confession box… I do remember not knowing if I did anything sinful from the last visit… so I got 3 Hail Mary and 3 Our Fathers… michael…

I remember confession being around or before Ash Wed.

I also remember telling a Priest me and friends were stealing cars and he gave me 7&7 of each and stop stealing.

i haven't been to confession since i was 12.....I go straight to God and cut out the middle man

me too, but ya know I’ve been listening to Catholic TV as of late and confession as being one of the sacraments, ( I think ) it’s practically mandatory to attend confession and sinful if not visiting regularly. ? which starts a violation of the other sacraments… Eucharist…

Then you should watch the movie "Dogma" which is more focused on that, than the rituals of the Church...
