tropical storm Alex dropped over 8 inches of rain in south Florida winds currently are 60 mph and a tropical storm warning has been issued for Bermuda. Swells are possible for the east coast of the United States this week as Alex moves slowly NE away from the east coast. Next updates if Alex becomes a hurricane or swells affect Long Island and south facing shores.

There are 3 systems out there now one that might impact Texas one for the Carribean and one that could effect Florida for Labor Day weekend this is the last update unless there is a warning for Florida

That system is not a factor at all. Besides the system effecting Texas the tropics are quiet. If anyone is interested in Texas let me know I will update this thread if not I will not update

Tropical storm Colin has formed this is the last update unless a watch or warning is issued for Long Island

Going to be a very active hurricane season. There is a 75 percent chance of a major hurricane hitting the eastern seaboard. During this quiet period it’s a good time to stock up and prepare. 20 named storms and 10 becoming hurricanes and out of those 10 hurricanes 5 being major hurricanes

I will keep an eye on the Bahamas this week. If nothing happens then this page will stay quiet. Next update 2pm. This heat is fueling a major hurricane they increased the number of major hurricanes To 7. The peak starts around the middle to end of August

Nothing happened its not quiet here the desert dust is stopping anything from happening

Good news NOAA has decreased the number of major hurricanes to 4 from 7. The dust and the below normal sea surface temperatures has contributed to this decision. Next update when there is activity

There is a system in the Atlantic it has a 40 percent chance next five days. Next update is If it impacts the east coast.
