Had to go one more time on Saturday. Cleaned out the remaining crabs from Mark at Cow Harbor. Surprised to see we were the only ones at the ramp at 9am. Headed out on the flat calm Sound and anchored up at 40 ft. Sporadic action for us as the incoming slowed. The fish were all 14 inches and under, some very small. So we motored out to 11b and joined the other 5 boats out there as well as a couple of seals which were deeper. We anchored at 65 ft and quickly had bigger fish...not much bigger, but it was promising. Stayed in the spot for an hour as the action and size dies off. Pulled the hook and tried shallower on the reef at 30 ft, but nothing doing with that. We then tried a deep 100+ ft spot, but had no takers. So we gave it one last shot in closer at 50 feet and again only had small fish picking up our baits. Called it a day before 2 pm and flew back at WOT. Only two other trailers back at the ramp. Got home and gave the boat a proper cleaning so she can come indoors for the offseason. I dropped off our remaining few dozen green crabs back at Cow Harbor to hopefully give someone else a shot with sundays very nice weather. Brought the boat indoors on sunday am, and suddenly the starboard side trim motor does not work.....I am very thankful the fishing/boating gods decided to let us fish one more time before something mechanical needs my attention. Cheers to a great season, and a hopefully quick winter.

Nice report Drew, it's always something with those HPDI's, hope it's an easy fix. Framed mine out Sat and Sunday my son came over and we put the tarp on it, it going to need a good cleaning come spring.
