I will try Raritan Bay this morning

I am going to try for stripers on a friend's boat. Launching late coming home early for Easter dinner but it will be nice to try to bend a rod the first time this season. We planned to start trolling but with all the reports of bass on spoons we will be ready to try that also.
I will let you know how we do.

It was a little windy in the morning but got substantially worse. We caught 8. Kept 4. Left the dock at 7:30 back at noon. Bites. 3 on white umbrella with a white mojo, 3 on White six inch 2oz tsunami shad, 2 on chartreuse 9 inch shad. All trolled. The six and 9 inch shads were trolled on my fluke rods with 20lb braid and 30lb floro leader. Smallest fish was 27 biggest 31.
