let it be 19 1/4" (before August 1 of course!) Have not had a good week as after getting blown off the bay Monday I hurt my back and noted a crack in my 6 year old Hurricane Skimmer 128 just in front of the seat
. But a certain Lydia McGhee who epitomizes what customer service should be all about, quickly and efficiently resolved the problem by having the Hurricane staff ship a patch with tubes of plastic weld and complete instructions and for free. 
The repair in itself was a long story, but I managed, got out today, and after unsuccessfully trying for snappers to liveline, used the ubiquitous pink and white buck and Gulp to provide dinner tonight.
