I was just going to look for wind post to say my weather app says 33mph gusts, no way, much higher.

They postponed the Duke of Fluke tournament here twice already. Still quite breezy here today, more than I would want to kayak in. I had oral surgery Thursday and still not up to doing much of anything. Soon, hopefully.

I have what is called a "dry socket." Not sure if yesterday's quick visit to the surgeon fixed it but an 800mg tab of ibuprofen helps! Meanwhile, hardly a breath of air but a different dental appointment awaits this morning. I no longer have a single original tooth. Hoping the light wind forecasted tomorrow holds (as does my surgeon's treatment yesterday.)

not like this one. I only lasted 45 minutes paddling on the bay this morning and was probably lucky to get back with all my fishing gear (and me). and the forecasts I looked at before going out all had wind estimates of 2/3 or less of reality.
