That's my only fear . . . like the year Testaverdi was knocked out for the season on the first game. But if he stays healthy, we have a shot at being a contender.

I’m a NYG fan, I will root for the Jets unless they’re playing Big Blue. However I see dark clouds on the horizon ; hopefully not.
 
didn't the Jets try this with some other guy from Green Bay, the one who was in "There's Something About Mary"?
 
Sorry g-fan, I get is tough to play second fiddle at Met Life. But it's all J E T S this year. No comparison. This time we have the 2020 and 2021 league MVP. With the team he has now I can see a 2023 MVP season!

It isn't. We beat a team that was an 18-point favorite! The Colts were going to kill us. But Joe Willie Namath predicted and produced the biggest upset in football history. It resulted in the AFL and NFL merger. There will never be another victory like it.

Can any G-fans explain why they picked a QB in the 1st round?

I think the g-men will win 6, maybe seven games this year. Any other guesses? The Jets will win 12 in the regular season.
 
We shall see. But if "Rent a Rodgers" doesn't pan out, will you lament mortgaging a future ?

Giants picked a Maryland cornerback in the first round. Did they pick a quarterback too ? I thought they had but one first round pick ?
 
Come on all you Giant fans. Let us Jets fans enjoy our good fortune. As George Allen once said, "The future is now". The Jets have a win now team. Let's see how it pans out. Do you Giant fans think DJ can take you to the big show? Hmmmm...........are you sure????

If a-rod fails to get to the big show this coming season, I believe he will be off to find the next shalene woodley. Regardless, every qback still needs a good cast.
 
As someone else said above, I will root for them unless they play big blue. But its been over 50 years of just end the season

A QB in the first round :unsure: maybe a CB traded up to the 24th pick. A position they needed to desperately fill. Just sayin.:)
