Relying on Rodgers was a roll of the dice and they came up snake eyes. Relying on Wilson and Boyle - a lifetime looser - was a huge mistake. Zach should have been #3.Offensive futility......now add the lack of discipline on D and you have a coaching staff that is in over their heads!
I mean, first play of the game? 15yrd defensive penalty after the play?
Disgusting is what this has become.
He was one of Rodgers buddies and was a part of the deal. The front office is 100% at fault there. They knew Zachary wasn't ready, yet they kept him at number 2. A huge mistake. There were a lot of QBs out there they could have signed as Rodgers back up but they don't want to admit that they wasted the second pick, and 25 million in the draft on Wilson. Those stats are correct ? who in hell drafted him ? and why ?
YepI guess i was on our cruise but did the jets give philly their only loss ?
Some of the hits Wilson took were brutal..................Not even Rodgers can overcome a DE in the backfield every play!!Wasn’t surprised at all by this outcome. The O-line’s performance was dismal, and it definitely should’ve been factored into our play calling. Becton? He should be off the field. Bench him. It’s almost like he found the whole situation amusing, which is unacceptable, especially for a guy who was a first-round pick and made $20 million over three years. He’s likely out after this season, especially since they didn’t extend his contract for the coming year. Showing him off in games now seems to be reducing his market value instead of increasing it. Coach Saleh should consider keeping him on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. His track record so far? Lazy, out of shape, or injured. That’s been his story here for the last three years.
And let’s talk about Zach. At one point he was sacked five times in one game, and we only managed a measly 5 yards. That’s just embarrassing. The team needs to invest seriously in the offensive line. It’s been 13 years of playoff drought in one of the biggest NFL markets. As for Hackett, I’m not convinced about him, but firing him might not be an option, especially with Aaron Rodgers in the picture. What a situation!
Wasn't it Bechton that missed the block on Arron? Some of the hits Wilson took were brutal..................Not even Rodgers can overcome a DE in the backfield every play!!
