I’m sorry but i am no Hackett fan. Never was. Why must he insist on play fakes? Those quick passes were working. The d was great. I had planned on a full day of football. Now I’m going to organize some tackle instead.

I can’t wait for the Yankee game tomorrow. Win or lose this one will be behind me.

1st and goal delay of game penalty?????? Coaching.

Giants have fewer weapons yet Daboll puts them in the best position to succeed. They looked great.

Can only look forward and hope it gets better. Wasting great defensive efforts!!!
 
One last rant What the hell is going on with the O line? I figured they would have trouble with San Fran, but it seems like every team they've played has been in the Jets backfield on every other play.

You can't win in this league with a line playing that.
 
Added incentive for opposing D-lines has to be that if they get through the tackles or guards they know the gimpy guy can't scramble much anymore.

Give up on the gimpy guy. Jones has been out longer in his sorry short career than Rodgers. It won't be long before he bends his rubberneck again!
 
Not a fan of either. I do wish Danny Dimes would slide more though. A-Rods politics turned me off years ago. Why these alleged celebrities think we might actually consider their uneducated or ignorant opinions as factual and influential is beyond me.

I never let politics get in the way of my team. Now if he weren't on the Jets . . .
 
Yeah......... sports is an escape from politics. I don't mix the two.

That said, this is the same pathetic offense that Zach ran last season. Different QB. Same results. In fact, the run game was much better last year.

As I said earlier, coaching matters. ESPECIALLY at this level.
 
I'm reading lots of criticism aimed at Rodgers. But I really don't think that's the problem. The Jets could have Bart Starr, Roger Staubach, Dan Marino, or any other top rated QB in his prime and we'd have the same result. I lay all the blame on the O Line, as I've said many times in the past. How do you only gain 38 yards on 23 carries or whatever it was? The O-Line seems incapable of opening holes. And pass protection? They're pathetic. IMHO, the Jets really have to reconsider their draft choices. Forget about skill players and go after the best linemen they can find. Then get a coach who knows how to teach them how to block and open holes.
 
Its not Rodgers. Its not the RBs. Its not the WRs................Bad penalties, no discipline and an awful offensive scheme that has not adapted or changed in 2 seasons!!!!

Defense lost key guys but still played great. The coach knows defense. THATS IT!!!

Fire the staff.....enough is enough......It can go from bad to worse as Rodgers might not make it to the end of the season at which point he might be frustrated enough to retire...........Wake up Woody!!!

Agree 100% about the bad penalties. I mean, really? How do you have 1st and goal at the ONE and get a delay of game penalty. Salah should have been jumping up and down, waving his arms like a mad man calling time out.
