Not me. I planted milkweed for the first time this April, seeds from my buddy. Only around two feet tall, no flowers yet, but from what I have read my mums, black eyed susans and other flowers attract the monarchs just as well, and they will lay eggs on the milkweed, flowers on them or not.

Ended up with extra RCA , which I’ll spread on the side driveway. Started spreading the sand but dinner canceled any further work today I’m stuffed

anyone have or familar with Giant Hyssop?

Sucker has gotten huge & I'm thinking of severely pruning it. I've read what I can find which does recommend frequent pruning but I want to take it down to like 18 to 24 inches above the ground. I cut it down lower last Fall after the frost took it out. Pretty much right to the ground.

I've found a lot of information regarding pruning but nothing to tell me if I can cut it back to the height I want to this time of year. And will it re-bloom? It's about shoulder height to me now. I'm 5'8 - 5'9 depending on how depressed I maybe at the moment. :)

Just wondering if any of you amateur gardeners have done this. I don't want to kill it.

It's a great perennial & herb as well. Very fragrant. Attracts tons of butterflies & bumble bees.
