Mental Health Day

So with today's weather forecast I had to take advantage of it and took the day off from work. I had contacted Capt Bryan of 'Salty Dog Charters' after seeing he had an open boat for today. Jenn and I jumped on board and we headed out to the reefs. Instant action with LOTS of shorts. Hopped around and continued to find short life. I didn't care, I was just happy to be on the water and bending the rod. I noticed that the fluke really wanted nothing to do with gulp and preferred the spearing over it. I did of course donate quite a bit of tackle to the reef. Time to rest up as I'll be heading to Montauk tomorrow morning.

Like they say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work hopefully tomorrow you will make up for it with an awesome catch
