The NFL has apologized to the players who PEACEFULLY protested. Those players wanted a dialogue to solve the mistrust between the police and the black community. They were ignored and vilified ("get that SOB off the field") by the same "type" of people also complaining about NON PEACEFUL protests going on now.

So the peaceful way was tried and ignored...now it seems the chaotic way has grabbed the attention of America and all kinds of reform....proper procedures....de-funding....arrests.....are taking place.

All the peaceful protesting and slogans (BLM) were ignored and now it took the chit to hit the fan for our leadership and people in this country to wake up and see that there are many different groups of people not too happy about being chit on by the priviliged few.

We can't have it both ways....either accept peaceful protest or deal with the alternative....we gas peaceful protesters outside a church to clear the path for a photo and have the nerve to warn China on cracking down on Hong Kong protesters???

What about respect for the police officers? Everything that has occurred to cause this situation can be traced back to a lack of respect for police officers trying to do their job.

Imagine what black people thought when a group of white protestors stormed a State capital with automatic weapons with zero consequences.....I'll tell you what they thought...."damn it's GOOD to be WHITE!!

you can be pro police (which I AM) and pro BLM who want dialogue and reform....I consider the support of blm to be pro police as I do not want to see innocent cops assassinated for the wrong doing of a few. There is a time and place for force...and sometimes deadly....this Floyd guy was not one of them. So now instead of listening to a peaceful protest (NFL) we will now go to the other extreme with dumb chit like de-funding the cops...

With all of this defunding of the Police talk, I sure hope they put some time & money into teaching, when the nice Police Officer says you are under arrest the proper thing to do is say yes sir, & put your hands behind your back. Problem solved!
