Every time i see one i think the good lord must of gotten interrupted while creating that fish
The Mola Mola look to be so slow & helpless I am always suprised that the sharks haven't eaten every last one of them by now.HOLY MOLA, looks like easy prey for any shark... cellfish...
.
See them all the time yrs ago I dunno how but I hooked one they dont budge
Nopeusing TT for bait?
I've never seen them in the sound.I was trolling around Cranes Neck two years ago in my kayak and had a foot tall fin pop up twenty feet in front of me. For a brief second I had that "Oh Shit" thought. Then it flopped over, what a relief.
Never seen one jump. Have seen them the size of a car though.
This is one of those "kids don't do this at home" I was shark fishing with a friend on his boat, who brought along a friend that downed a six-pack before the lines were in. It was a slow hot day and he just kept on drinking. Early afternoon and a Sun Fish, about the size of the one in the video shows up and it's just mozying along. Suddenly I hear a splash and its the drunk diving into the water. He swims right up to it and went to put his arm around it and the thing came flying out of the water. The moron ended up with a gash that took a lot of stitches. He was so drunk he didn't even know he was cut.Yeah they seem docile, but they're big and they can do some serious damage if you poke at them...
