hey R7, Old Mud. Ya got any Moose in Maine any longer, these Alaska shows tell of everyone shooting a Moose , did they all go there to Alaska cauz Maine ran dry or something... thats alot of meat... cellfish...

Yep we got em Cell in fact quite a few car crashes every year because of em. That Pic. is of an Alaskan Moose. The only difference is they are slightly larger the the Maine Moose. But they taste just a good.

Like he said, ME moose may be smaller, but when you see one on the road they are friggin' BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moose is much less gamier than venison, and I love venison. It's very close to beef. I had some moose burgers that had some added beef fat and if they didn't tell me it was moose I wouldn't have known any better. Whenever I have venison burgers with added beef fat, I still know it's Bambi Burger, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I like properly done venison. I like the flavor. I would like to try moose sometime.

Not much different Joe, a little milder maybe. If you get some jjust fry it as a steak and deglaze the pan with a cup of Red . MMMM good. If i get some i'll save you a piece.
