Had a funny one the other day. It was a "Private Caller" which I usually won't answer, but I had just texted a fishing buddy here who always shows up as "Private Caller".

So I hear a real American talking, "Hello I'm James and I'm calling to tell you about a $4.5 million uncashed check that was made out to you." I was annoyed and not in the mood to play so I just said, "Oh don't give me that bullchit!" and hung up.

my wife did sum over the counter of apple products… not long after sum sick message on our land line saying “ my name is George from Amazon, we see recent excessive suspicions activity on your Amazon account, please press 1 to very etc, etc… 4 times he called fron same are code W.V.”… my wife called our CC and Amazon with an all ok… brazen bastards, have links to purchases like that… watch out… cellfish…

Got that call about a week or two ago as well. Let the robot continue to speak while I checked the accounts on my PC. I guess as PT Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute but...

I have bout 400 blocked calls, hardly get spam/robo calls… guess they are running out of numbers or maybe our government is getting control of this… how’s bout you… C22…

Less, but still getting them maybe a few times a week. I think maybe the virus finally got to a bunch of them.

SCAMMERS, posing as Citibank are texting me to refresh my account, lol, just delete… they come in as Chase and other banks too… watch out… C22…

Our IT department just warned us about texts being received by company cell phones, spoofing as from our CEO.

got a call today on our landline voicemail, stating she’s from MEDICARE… on playback we hear the young peeps in the back laughing and such… caller ID showed VIACOM, what balls… C22…

What's a landline? I was paying for triple play when i first moved into my co-op. Couldn't even tell you my landlines number. I never hooked it up.
