Well, if it's not windmills or water temps, I agree, it's gotta be nets.
Buddy up north says he's seen a few out of state draggers on the Nantucket shoals. It's had an effect on his fishing for sure. He's doing ok but fishing deeper, sticky areas with alot of tide just to get away. He's fishing structure 80-90'. Deep for this time of year.
The offshore boats did a job on scup this winter. Im sure there were plenty of boxes of fluke in the holds as well!
