Yes, which is what i do. No electronics, no bicycle pedals, no rudder, no motor, not even fresh or frozen bait. Its not for everyone but i can call mine a sporting way to maybe get a dinner

Ah, a purist.

Paddles or pedals, at least someone has to propel it. Those things probably have an autopilot and station keeping. One may as well have an autocaster. Then you could sit home and watch your 'yak go fishing for you with an app.
