If I remember correctly my BIL claimed that when tournament fishing you have to declare if you use it and you are put in a separate category for prize money etc.

The boat he fishes was in the process of getting this installed. Big job, big hole in the hull!

That’s expected to give her a cruise speed in 23-25 knot range. Additionally, they will be adding a Simrad SY50 Omni Sonar. This will give an already very successful offshore charter operation an even bigger edge over a lot of their competitors.
