Back in June I couldn't find any Seagar or Yozuri pink 30 lb fluoro so I found this stuff on Amazon. Finally used up my Seagar last night and tied up a rig with it using a Rapala knot to the lure and a Palomar knot to a barrel swivel. Was really please with how well this stuff knotted, and kind of smelled a future rat. It's also very, very small in diameter, at least 1/2< that of the Seagar or Yozuri.
Well my suspicions were confirmed this AM when I plopped a 5 lb bass into the boat. As I was holding the line, with the fish squirming away about 1' above the deck, I hear a pop and see that the leader broke at the Rapala knot!! This has not happened with Seagar or Yozuri in over 2000 fish, and I tie the Rapala with an extra step that brings it to 95% breaking strength.
My advice: RUN AWAY!!!!!!
