My local pizzeria has a pasta slice/pie. ?I took a few items left over in the fridge and put them on a slice of pizza.
Wife thought it was crazy but dam....its good.
Fresh muetts, sausage and some rigs.

Anyone know if the pizzeria in the strip mall by the bowling alley in Elmhurst Queens is still there? They used to make awesome personal size pizza pies in the '80s.
I luv those serving plates, gotta be from uncle Kevin in Ireland ??... cellie...
.
Wife would be wild to hear of your interest in the plate.they're probably worth something - Jack what's the stamping say on the bottom of the plate?
wasn't able to find that exact one on either Etsy or Ebay to try to get a value on it - but did find some interesting history on the companyWife would be wild to hear of your interest in the plate.
she has some collection of china , plates, glasses , serving platters, glasses, mugs and even gravey bowls.
Many very collectible / desirable items ...others more novel and fun.
those mentioned are brought out for winter into ST. Patrick’s Day for using on both Fat Tuesday and the 17th of March.
Vintage pure white Belleek
Oh she is enjoying this and laughing her ass off.... it has a black ‘B’ on the bottom so I assumed it was one of her fancy ones and Beeleek....it’s not. I will take a pic later and post....gotta get ready to start my 8am movement workout.wasn't able to find that exact one on either Etsy or Ebay to try to get a value on it - but did find some interesting history on the company
Apparently there were a lot of knock offs emanating out of the US. Original Belleek can be identified by some very specific markings on the bottom.
Black Mark Belleek: First Period Pieces of Belleek china have been chronicled with various marks throughout the years – indeed, Belleek is currently on its fifteenth mark. The most coveted of these marks, though, is undoubtedly the “Black Mark,” the first mark used by the brand. It featured an arched ribbon banner bearing the name “Belleek” in capital letters that enveloped symbols of Ireland, including shamrocks, an Irish wolfhound, a harp, and the profile of the Round Tower of County Fermanagh. The Black Mark can be further subdivided into three periods of production. The First Period, which incorporated production from 1891 to 1926, includes accordingly some of the most coveted – and thus expensive – Belleek piece on the market today.
If she has any of these - you have got some very expensive porcelain indeed. The prices you see in the link are in GBP. So multiply by 1.5 to convert to USD
Lot of reference to their China being very translucent. Nothing on serving platters but the ones I did come across on line where/seemed to be heavy pieces.
That may be a rare piece or a possible knock off (which from what I saw are also somewhat collectible).
Don't want to carry on here as it will probably annoy Glenn for being OT. But if she hasn't yet - she may want to research it on her own (or with a dealer who specializes in this stuff). Like I said - it's fetching a pretty hefty price if it's original & depending on the markings which date it.
