Had a long day "outside JI" today, I took the golden sombrero, but regular crewman and ace deep-jigger Kenscot put a 3, 4 & 6lb fish in the boat's box. Thank goodness SOMEONE aboard knew how to fish today! LOL! Pic is of Ken's "good one."

And this is what can happen when a big fluke ends up on the Lep’s deck. Fresh Fluke Marsala, in the pan and on the plate, with a home-made Bloody Mary to wash it down. Mrs. Lep does it again!

Stopped by Nantucket on our way in from an offshore canyon trip for tiles. In a few hours, I had 7 keepers, all over 5lbs including a pair of 10's and an 8lber. Insane fishing on the shoals!!

Tomatoes, red onions, celery, green peppers, capers, garlic, lots of basil, red (or black) pepper and salt to taste. Optional, thin-sliced black or green olives. All stove-top cooked and delish over rice.
