I went out there and one time they lost power and there were no lights at intersections. Like the drivers were pre programed, cars would stop at the intersection and 2 would drive thru , while the other cars waited their turn, the cars cleared the intersection and the waiting cars would proceed thru. In NY , it's chaos at intersections , no waiting, just drive any which way .
I guess living in the Natural Disaster State you need more cooperation on the road.
I went to the Reagan Library twice. Really nice.

Theater ..I have seen Ice man commeth , Hamilton , Book of Moorman. To kill a mocking bird , just to name a few ..what have you seen ?

I live within minutes of the citi
And dine there regularly ( or at least did pre covid)
Only go to a show when the wife wants me too

my usual meals are a good 2.5 or more hours so the show kinda gets in the way
Of my dining
Take it from me while the resturant scene in nyc still has some bright spots
Many of the best place have either closed up because ppl won’t “dine” anylonger
Or are a shadow of their former selves
Gliding by on past glory
It’s sad

It’s that they aren’t as good as they once were or the really great ones can’t survive

NYC should be it's own State. But Upstate NY would never break away from NYC. NYC would love to get rid of Upstate NY and not send all their money upstate to prop up the schools up there.

Several Sunday’s ago, driving back to nyc on NJT, passed exit 8… light rain, dark… I always drive the right lane and white line I’m cautious at 60mph… lunatics in left lane going at “least +70”… sure enough a multi car crash one minute ahead, turned into car fire ? cellfish…

I was driving on the Florida Turnpike late at night in a Rental Car with Florida Plates and some car comes roaring behind me honking his horn, shining his lights . He drives by me and I see a NY License plate. The road was almost empty .

PANG, that was the only time 'one' driver gave you the lights on FT, bet ya are one of the front runners all the time... the left lane sucks, especially on long distance drive, (too exhausting) and here in NYC area, its unnecessary if ya think ya get there any faster... LIE LOL...

Florida Turnpike,! im driving northbound in daylight, wet roads, lunatics in left lane racing each other, SPIN OUT across three lanes, 18 wheeler in middle lane, BIG SUV ended up perpendicular to me in right lane... I missed a good T.Bone with the Shoulder Cut... cellfish...

It take a guess u were in the left lane

left lane is the passing lane
You have 0 right to cruise in it no matter if it was mt or not

slower traffic keeps right

if that is the scenario you were dead wrong

if he was speeding that’s none of your concern, you leave that to law enforment
Just get the hell out of the way and drive in the proper lane

Right lane slow
Middle lane avg
Left lane passing and very very fast

and if you can’t drive at least the speed limit keep you crotchety old ass off the highway
